Fareham Live is our brand-new venue on the stunning south coast of England, where contemporary design meets seaside charm. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque town of Fareham, this state-of-the-art venue offers a perfect setting for any event, whether it’s a large-scale conference, an elegant ceremony, or private celebration.

The beautifully appointed building features terraces that overlook landscaped gardens, offering breathtaking views, and providing an idyllic backdrop for your special occasion.

Our History & Programming

Fareham Live opened its shiny new doors in September 2024, ready to showcase world-class entertainment.

Located in the heart of Fareham, this venue carries forward the legacy of Ferneham Hall, a beloved entertainment hub that brought the best in music, comedy, and theatre to the south coast from 1982. The new venue was built on the same site as Ferneham Hall and is set to continue acting as the cultural heartbeat of this seaside town, with a rich cultural programme on offer.

The venue now features an 800-seat concert hall and a 120-seat secondary space, both equipped with the latest technology to host a diverse range of events, from community-driven performances to corporate gatherings.

Capacity

Fareham Live features a large and unique main auditorium, equipped with comfortable seating for 800 guests and enhanced by retractable seating. This creates a flexible space, ready for a wide range of events, including performances, award ceremonies, banquets, weddings, conferences, and live events.

The venue also offers two versatile spaces, Studio One and Studio Two, perfect for meetings, private dining, social events, and celebrations. Complementing these spaces is a new terrace bar overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden and a private balcony, providing exclusive areas for relaxation and VIP guests. Facilities & Technical

Cafe & bistro: A refreshing daytime café and bistro serves a fabulous selection of freshly made meals, snacks and treats. By night, a selection of street food-style options are available for an informal meal pre-show.

Catering: Whatever the occasion, corporate or private, birthday or celebration, your event will be personally catered for by our own innovative team of chefs. Our menus are fresh, innovative, and constantly changing to reflect seasonality and local produce.

Hospitality: Our experienced, first-class hospitality team, along with our fully qualified technicians, will seamlessly deliver a professional service, ensuring your bespoke event runs smoothly.

Spaces: The venue’s multi-use spaces are complemented by options for VIP areas, private bars and terraces that overlook lush gardens.strong>Technical: Our state-of-the-art facilities include advanced AV and sound systems, equipped for live streaming and cinema projection.

By bus: Fareham Live is a close walk from Fareham Bus station, serviced by First Hampshire, Stagecoach Hampshire, and National Express.

By car: Located on Osborn Road, the nearest car park is the Fareham Live car park, managed by the local council.
