Our History & Programming

While originally intended for council business, the Wycombe Old Town Hall – a Grade II listed, Edwardian gem – found its true calling with the stage and has seen more famous musicians than it ever did paperwork! By the late 20th century it had hosted numerous famous rock bands like The Rolling Stones and The Who.

Adjacent to The Old Town Hall, you’ll find Wycombe Swan Theatre, an energetic multi-purpose events and entertainment venue with an eclectic mix of programming throughout the year. For just over three decades it has hosted comedy, dance and family shows, as well as a world-class annual pantomime, bringing the best of live entertainment to Buckinghamshire.
